Mallee burrs are fantastic things.  They come from Australia and are famous for having both beautifully patterned wood and unusual outer textures.  They are totally unique, no two will ever be the same.  This lovely burr has been finished with just the right amount of 24 carat gold leaf.

This piece measures roughly 31 cm diameter and 7 cm deep.  Weight is 2300 grams.
